STATUS BOARD

my queue is not public at the minute, as I take a limited amount of commissions at a time and work one-on-one with my clients to ensure that we’ve got everything in order. eventually, I’ll have it back up, but for now, it’s inactive.

✦ When do you open for commissions?

I open for slots occasionally through Twitter, and those are crossposted on Discord and Telegram. You can sign up for live pings on Discord via reaction roles to be immediately notified when slots open.

✦ How do I commission you?

When slots open, I share a link to a form for those interested to fill out. However, due to high demand, I have priority slots for Ko-fi patrons. This works by allowing monthly supporters to claim slots days before they are planned to go public via Twitter or Discord. If slots are filled by patrons, they do not go public.

Additionally, certain smaller commission types may be available to patrons via Ko-fi, as well as for Twitch supporters via Discord! Certain commission types are also available during streams (check for art streams; I’ll have a box that says I’m accepting in-stream commissions), but the process for those is on a case-by-case basis.

✦ How many slots do you usually accept?

My goal is always to cover monthly expenses. I tend to pick up a few large projects, as well as a bunch of smaller projects; and for-hire work goes in-between or otherwise takes over what I’m working on for the month (or more). Therefore, slots are accepted until I fulfill either the month’s quota, or if I cap the number of commissions for a slot (i.e. accepting three chibi illustrations), that’ll close that off, too.

✦ Do you do first-come-first-serve or pick certain requests?

For the most part, I don’t create first-come-first-serve (FCFS) commission openings; so unless the commission is directly marked as “FCFS”, assume that I’m picking by hand. I tend to prioritize designs and prompts that catch my eye, as well as repeat clients.

✦ What affects my submission being accepted?

It really varies! Sometimes I’ll pick based on character, sometimes I’ll pick based on the prompt. As long as you’re clear with what you’re looking for, and feel like your character will fit nicely in my style, you’ve got a fair chance! Other than that, there isn’t anything in particular.

✦ Do you take deadlines? Can I pay a rush fee?

I don’t accept deadlines or work with rush fees, unfortunately. My clients are however are a critical part of my process, and if there’s a timeframe that you’d like to have your commission by, I’m happy to attempt to make it. Please note that I cannot ever guarantee a deadline for various reasons, but I promise to keep you updated as much as possible! I generally like to set small soft deadlines for myself for process parts as I’m looking at my schedule; such as “aiming to get the sketch done for you within the next week!”

if you are unsure of anything or have any questions, feel free to ask me at [email protected] or through twitter! please note that due to communication frequency, replies may be slow, missed, or mistakenly marked as spam.
